Brian Flook
BRIAN L. FLOOK, MIRM is the President of the Brian Flook Group and Power Marketing & Advertising, Inc. and half-owner of Coldwell Banker Innovations LLC. Brian consults, speaks and trains nationally and has been a featured trainer at the International Builder’s Show every year since 1996, as well as many other NAHB events. Brian is a published author and participates with the Building Systems Council, IRM, and the National Sales Marketing Council.
Brian is a Trustee for NAHB’s Institute of Residential Marketing and has a Bachelors degree in Leadership Development from Wheeling University and a degree in Business Administration. Brian earned his MIRM from the NAHB in 1991.
Kathy Browning
With a degree in Professional Interior Design from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Kathy Browning’s early design background covered retail, commercial and residential design. Kathy has been an instructor in the Interior Design Department of Tidewater Community College and owner of Design Consultants, a 30-year-old business working exclusively with builders in Model Home Merchandising. Kathy has been a speaker for several years representing National Sales and Marketing Council and Design Committees at the NAHB International Builder‘s Show.
As an active member of Tidewater Builders Association, she has served as Homearama Interior Designer, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Sales and Marketing Council, Chairman of the Stanley Awards and currently is a member of the Green Building Council and Membership Committee. Browning served as a trustee for The National Sales and Marketing Council and is currently a member of the Design Committee, 50+ Council, Convention Education, Convention and Meeting Committees and Professional Women in Building Council. Her articles on affordable merchandising, design trends and Green Design have been featured in the National Association of Homebuilders Sales and Marketing Ideas magazine and Builder Magazine.
Rebecca Morley
Rebecca Morley is the executive director of the national center for Healthy Housing (NCHH), where she leads a multi-disciplinary staff in creating healthy and safe housing for children through practical and proven steps. Ms. Morley led the development of the National Healthy Homes Training Center and spearheaded NCHH’s work in the Gulf Coast region following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. She has authored numerous articles and publications on the topic of housing-related health hazards. Before joining NCHH in 2002, Ms. Morley was senior associate with ICF Consulting in Washington, DC, where she advised clients, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and HUD, on the development of lead poisoning prevention and healthy homes program. Before joining ICF, Ms. Morley worked with HUD in a variety f posts, including the office of the Secretary, the Office of Public Affairs, and the Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control. During her tenure at HUD, she was responsible for developing lead paint regulations and developing and overseeing children’s environmental health projects. She served on the President’s Task Force for Children’s Environmental Health Safety and contributed to HUD’s preliminary healthy Homes Initiative plan and Strategic Plan to Eliminate Childhood Lead Poisoning by 2010. She designed and implemented a national multi-million dollar healthy homes education campaign focused on injury prevent. Ms. Morley also served as a legislative fellow to U.S. Senator Jack Reed, where she authored key components of the Kennedy Health Bill related to childhood lead poisoning and helped to establish a national childhood lead poisoning prevention week through a Senate resolution.
